Then the floor is covered with a thin (not more than 3 sm.) layer of mortar of cement in the proportion of 1 to 4 cement and sand. The corners between the floor and the walls should be circularized.

When the cement layer hardens in one or two weeks’ period it’s time to get down to the walls and the floor isolation from moisture. It’s better to cover the walls with tape or roofing felt at first and then the floor. The tape is place upright in the same way as you hang wall-papers. The length of the roles should be taken with the 20sm spare. Isolating materials may be fixed merely by tight sticking under the very ceiling. To fix he tape or felt you may use filling nails or a lath which however seems more reliable. Roofing felt is sticking well with warmed mastic gum or bitumen.

The walls done you may get down to leveled floor isolation. The same technology of the roofing felt fixation as on the walls. The stripes should be overlapped for 15 or 20 sm. Before felt sticking you may process the floor with special dispersive matrix to prevent moisture attendant fungi. A 5sm layer of cement (in the proportion 1 to 3) covers the tape.
